After recent spate of violence in Karachi in which dozens of political workers from almost all political parties have been assassinated in last few months, (Miltant Qatil Militia)MQM's absconding mafia chief Altaf bhai from his hideout in London have called upon Army to take action in Karachi and restore the law and order situation in Karachi.

Point to be noted is that MQM is part of both provincial as well as Federal Govt. Is the MQM saying that system in Karachi has totally collapsed and the government(of which it also is a partner) has failed miserably?

If army do indeed comes into Karachi then same British Altaf bhai will start howling and growling like a crazy animal when Army will take action against real perpetrators of these killing which includes MQM's own sector and unit terrorists.

Rabita committee spokesperson has reported through media that Altaf Hussain has not been informed!
You are right to say Altaf Bhai will start howling and growling, but isn't this typical of MQM to start playing as a 'victim' when ever such a situation shows up.

It is very difficult to believe MQM is not involved. What is the use of blaming Liari gang wars. Had they not been connected and now if something of an internal nature flares up they start a blame game.

  6. Assalam-o-Alaikum-Warahmat-ULLAH ALL,

    Does this show;

-> 'stability' of our current 'coalition' govt. ?

-> 'coordination' between current 'coalition' govt. partners ?

On the contrary, it gives rise to many serious questions.

Today MQM's parliamentarians have formally requested to their "Rabita committee" to allow them to sit on opposition benches. They have blamed that some senior PPP officials are supporting the recent target killing incidents.

On the other hand we can see that ANP has also started its function of defending PPP. The reality is that ANP and PPP both wants to get Karachi free of MQM influence, which in my personal opinion is not an easy task. They want to create a chaos to tell MQM that they should not every try to go against them and secondly to utilize it for the upcoming local bodies elections. CCPO Karachi is fully supporting PPP and if you remember MQM could not change this guy despite of pressure.

Anyhow I already mentioned in other posts that Karachi blast was beginning of the divorce process between PPP & MQM. "Aik Talaq" to waqia ho chuki hay ... 2 baqi reh gaein ...

MQM Altaf itself is THE biggest land mafia in Karachi at the moment.Hundreds of acres of public parks, play grounds and amenity plots have been encroached and occupied by MQM’s gun touting unit/sector terrorists. In most of these affected area the actual residents of the area are too helpless against these MQMized terrorists, they were opposed to these illegal occupation and construction but obviously these people were no match for armed organized MQMized criminals. Plots were demarcated on these encroached parks and distributed to MQMized office bearers and families of MQMized unit terrorists.

Now after successfully encroaching and illegally constructing without much resistance, attempts were made to encroach Gutter Baghicha in the same manner, unlike the rest of the areas people in Liyari are armed so naturally they’re resisting and making encroachers run for their money.

  9. MQM is doing what its "Master " told it to do .
Ann Peterson was the last person who met Gover.( MQM ) Nazim ( MQM) & 90 ( MQM) & didn't met the CM ( PPP ) & Interior Minister ( PPP)she showed her MOTIVES while ignoring PPP ministers .Just after she met , the Target killing started in karachi .
Then MQM Rabita com. asked Pak army to Intervene just as they have asked Aslam Baig ie" Pak Fuj Merhabaa" in 1990 during Pukka Qila operation .Now If anyone has EyES to see the TRUTH & UNBIASED Brain to UNDERSTAND ...LOOK WHO IS ASKING ARMY TO UPSET THE CIVIL SETUP JUST WITHIN 2 YEARS...these CULPRITS REMAINED with the Army Usurper for NINE YEARS without any Objection & now they are CONPIRACING against the CIVIL governments all over PAKISTAN .Calling Army into Karachi means calling Usurpers to Usurp Whole PAKISTAN. And still they CLAIMED to be Jamhori Muthadiha ..

Well tussle between MQM's Altaf Dakait's terrorist and Rehman Dakait's terrorist from Liyari is the issue. Altaf and his thugs thought they would easily manage to encroach everything without much resistance like they did in the rest of the city but here in Liyari environment is different. Rehman Dakait's gang and Ghaffar Zikri's gang have been fighting a brutal gang war since last many years, but when MQM tries to encroach in their area then they agree to a truce among themselves and turn their attention towards MQM's unit/sector terrorist.

MQM's City Nazim Mustafa Kamal of Ye Karachi k log he bohot he ullu k phathay hain fame just said on Duniya tv that you should all be thankful to Quaid-E-Terrorism Altaf bhai who have adviced us to show restraint otherwise we in City Government could easily destabilize Karachi when ever we want.

This reminds me of Zufiqar Mirza's statement that we would have burnt and breakup all Pakistan on the day of BB's assassination had Zardari not said Pakistan Khappay.

As long as these greedy politicians are in power they don't mind and are selfishly busy looting and plundering and the moment there is any indication of them being out of power they start talking about destabilizing and wrecking up the whole city and country.

ppp is not doing jack **** about target killings and it is allowing chaos in the city.

i support this move to sit in the opposition. lyari gangsters and rahman dachet gang are not doing well for the city.

What Karachi needs most is an effective and responsive police force, yet this is precisely what it lacks. Consider, for example, the fact that Lahore with 10 million residents has 76 police stations whereas Karachi with nearly double the number of people has only 96. Furthermore, a fair number of the city’s roughly 28,000 police personnel are diverted to VIP duty and the guarding of sensitive installations, leaving fewer men to patrol the streets. Interior Minister Rehman Malik acknowledged yesterday that the city’s police strength is insufficient. This must be remedied urgently. There is a clear need for police personnel to be taken off VIP duty and deputed to do their real work: ensuring the security of the common citizen. If Karachi descends into violence, or becomes a centre for militants to regroup, the cost to the country can be immense.

You are right QKM that police stations and personnel should increase. I will add one more thing that honest and dutiful personnel should be appointed in Karachi. They don't take any kind of pressure from any party and eliminate all elements who are involved in any kind of crimes.

    AoA,
I think the ANP's demand is quite reasonable, if army or other law enforcing agencies make karachi free of arms and make sure that these arms must not be acquired by these people again. The situation in the city will become much better, why there is land mafia, drugs mafia, bhata mafia, gangsters, unit guys with guns, snatchers, and aman committee??? just because they have weapons at their disposal and why other cities have all this **** together?? This is only becasue of easily available weapons to everyone. So everyone must push the government to take action against the weapon holders. All of the legal and illegal weapons should be confiscated. This will definitley change the whole picture...
