I agree with himon virtually everything. We havn’t even started the process of talking, and these parliamentarian scallywags are already echoing what the master fed them. Starting with grouping these guys with the Afghan resistance, popularly called the Taliban.
Well let’s not even go into the facts of Bush and neoconservative incompetence, and their sure shot recipe of destroying the US as well as frakkin up the world, they never even took into account the ground realities, that there is no viable border between Pakistan and Afghanistan and never has been. Nor that the fringe terrorists they are bringing into power have a worse record. Every single occupying power claims some excuse for its own incompetence, incase of indo-china it was laos and cambodia..sure that’s where the terrorist NVA and vietcong trained in their clandestine acre long compounds. Incase of Iraq it is Syria and Iran (but for some reason no one dares touch them) and ofcourse when no WMDs were discovered….everyone up on the Hill dropped another gem on the world: The WMDS had ran into Syria.
(Sidebar: I feel sorry for the WMDs, If we had started to bomb Syria first, then Iraq , then Iran, atleast those WMDs would’ve travelled in a straight line. As of now, when we bomb Syria, the poor WMDs would have to cross the Iraqi desert again to find some sanctuary in Iran.)

In Afghanistan, the crybaby Karzai who doesn’t exercise any authority over his cabiinet members all of whom are Islamists or ex commis bitches about Pakistan sending in the Taliban, prolly being hand fed to “it” by his overlords including the smelly langots from the other periphery, he then WISHES that “Taliban were his soldiers”.
The strongest military in the world which has spent of multi multi BILLIONS of dollars in Afghanistan has done nit sh*, and still they beleive that this can be controlled. It can never be controlled. Beause they ar not just fighting thugs and criminals. They are also fighting a population. And the sympathies have only grown to now include our Tribal warriors. Real men.
And when Hillary (btw she contracted fungus in her delicates while delivering one of those defiant psychic rhythms in the eastern sea board primaries), along with John McClone and BUsh co. talks about talking with Iran through "position of power" (that meaning stop whatever ur doin, let us in, dismantle that centrifuge and let us have the oil) otherwise no negotiation is possible, we indeed see the same folly from our elected dullards.
