    Just when the country is burning, people dying everyday, Army engaged in operations, our greatest party is CELEBRATING its yom-e-tasees. Thousands of ppl thronged to shahr-e-Faisal from interior sindh in big rallies to stage a mega show.

    Frankly speaking I don't see any reason for CELEBRATION at this critical time in our history. This is absolutely pathetic. They are acting like they've converted Pakistan into 'singapore'.

    Shameless!

    ps: Hundreds of thousands wasted on staging such events could be spent on poor IDP's struggling in the camps.

    That's part of it.

    Zardari is addressing the rallies from Aiwan-e-sadar being shown on big screens and praising 'kamyab jalsa'.

    He didn't have time for the people of SWAT and FATA. Disgusting!

    waisay the way he has confined himself to aiwan-e-sadar it looks as if he has some strong intelligence about the dangers to his life in public places !!!

    otherwise, he must have addressed his own party workers by actually going there!

    He's using his speech to lash out at everyone including media persons calling them 'siyasi adakar'. He went after GEO big time w/o naming it.

    Ek channel ne apni monoply bana rakhi hai. wo apni keemat barhana chahta hai. mein usko batana chahta hun ke hum unki madad ke baghair aiwan e sadar mein aiiye.

    Wow, he's really pumped up......

    Why dont they bother about million marches with 10,000 people??

    Why should he step out if there is a danger to his life? When did your favourite IK go to meet his brothers in FATA?

    He'd be a fool to compromise his security by going public at this point. If he goes to public then people like you will complain about the security measures taken for his security and would complain the money spent on his security should go to IDP.

    BB is getting sympathy only because she was brutally killed otherwise her services for Pakistan are not very much admirable. Her deal with the dictator is still under discussion and never accepted in a good manner.

    PPP is the only political party with roots in all parts of Pakistan.We should not forget this fact.

    @letsdoit....no doubt...but far admirable then our president of islami jamhoriya pakistna jinab asif ali zardari sahab... atleast whn she speaks she spoke like a leader...i m nt a big fan of her..since she had that same mentality of keeping the slavery system intact and ruling....but if she were alive...it woud have been a diff picture...nt altogether but to an extent....!!

    Musharraf banta ja raha hai Zardari, nahi?

    I mean ehsan faramoshi ki bhi koi hud hoti hai yehi media tha jiski badolat musharraf par dabao para aur yehi Zardari sahib us media ki tareef kartay phirtay thay. Aaaj bura lagnay laga?

    nahi nahi usko to Zardari sahib London chaur ke aye hain salami denay ke bad. Magar kyonke wo anti-establishment party hain isliye unka trial nahi karain gay. Warna revenge ho jaye ga :-)

    For politics you have to go to the public, but now a days people are doing politics on TV Camera (Pointing Shahid masood, Shaheen Sehbai etc)

    And at the same time he is also using the similar technology and not present in the public. lolz... he is **** funny...

    ^^ thts whd i m sayin.!! i mean fr sumone who is in the country...and the president..of the nation...it doesnt suit him...and if he is representing the countries one of the most strongest political party plus he is the president of the nation....its chicken sh** i beleive nt to come in public becasue of security which have been given a gren signal by sindh officials and shah sahab as well...!!

    i guess you have to have the ba**s to do that...!!

    Actually our president was kept in Jail for longer time so he is now addicted to this life style. The only difference is that his jail is having more facilities than before and he could cut land deals while sitting in here.

    Did Zardari attend even secondary school? A person with the IQ of a 12 yr old can give a better speech. And what was that all about 'kisi ek channel ki monopoly ho gayee hay'.. does he even know what a monopoly is? Monopoly is what PTV had before 2000. Today there are more than 50+ news channels in Pakistan and we are free to watch any channel we want.

    He is so ganwaar its not even funny.

    Lets discuss this rationally, and not being emotional. My appologies to Jialas if we have any on board, but if facts are facts than lets admit them:

    PPP since its inception was a bad omen and a confirmed bad luck for Pakistan and Pakistanis. Go back to history of Pakistan and PPP's good compared against its blunders and we may come to know!

    Only party who has been four times in power! The saying that goes by is; Military dictators took over elected governments. What an excuse. PPP was not a saint too!

    The one who was over thrown and later hanged was a ‘civilian chief marshal law administrator’ for seven ‘very short’ years. Than in his times we were gifted by ‘ration cards and long lines’ not different from the utility stores and similar long lines. What is the difference? Even if utility stores are not a PPP creation.

    Why he got hanged has more to do with his aloof attitude and behavior according to his feudal up bringing.
    Later PPP governments were routed out blamed/accused of corruption. If any case was not proved reflects upon poor judicial character and procedural lacking, more than the innocence of accused.

    -What happened to Roti, Kapra our Makan?
    -What happened to 12 and half acres each of land for the needy?

    Now Pakistan Khappey? Even he who said this is not aware of the meaning of Pakistan Khappey! He is a confirmed schizophrenic (court proceedings abroad), or was this not an excuse to get pardoned/exempted by pleading insanity from cases against him in courts abroad. I can say as a Pakistani that no Pakistani is supposed to run Presidential office if he/she has been shown as a ‘not so sane’ person in court cases.

    Emotional slogans and false promises that were never fulfilled is what is PPP is known for.

    I was among the voters for Z.A Bhutto, and his fan but not any more since I came to see and observe him from close.

    Pakistan Peoples Party is the only party in Pakistan that is not true to its name, as we can see now. It was never meant to be for Pakistani People or public. The rest you yourself can make out.

    1) illeteracy
    2) uneducated voters
    3) a small piece of land
    4) feudal mindsets influence
    5) lack of other choices
    6) Fear of survival in rural areas
    7) would haev been a different story if bibis assasinations wouldnt have happened so for this time we can call it thr trump card.

    etc etc etc includes establishments will as well.:)..tht who has to come this time...and its nt everytime tht they get tge most popular votes..!!

    it has nuthing to do with the pride of PPP and thr popularity which is going down everyday...and fr me it was lost after the assassination of ZAB..rahee sahee bibi k janay k baad khatam ho chukee hay..!! and that is the reason that in next elections the president will use his powers to keep up the name of PPP.....*if God forbid he stays till then...!!

    yes sir, this is my point.

    People will realize only if democracy continues to function. These things come with time. You let democratic governments complete their tenure, people will learn. PPP screws up, people will vote for n-leauge, n-league fails, people will vote for PPP. If both of them continue to fail then alternate leadership will emerge by itself. Simple as that. If you continue to derail democratic process, awam will be stuck between Zardari, NS and Kiyani. Nothing will change, nothing will improve.

    Thanks to advanced technology available to media. Our public including even those who are academically lacking (the majority) is aware through media and not as it was two decades ago. Being educated just to know 'who is who in Pakistan' is not relevant anymore.

    Things are different now. Who knows that the most 'elected into power' party becomes 'the most routed out party' as well.

    It could be a very interesting study to analyze that Z.A. Bhutto, who,
    1. Was held responsible for the dismemberment of Pakistan
    2. Did a false promise of Roti, Kapra ,Makaan
    3. Got killed or insulted his opponents
    4. Admitted in public for consuming Alcohol, in a Muslim State
    5. Managed to Rig the elections in 1976
    6. Restricted the role of Media
    7. Had so many other 'bad habits'
    40 years after his assassination, is still a shinning political image to influence the flow of politics in Pakistan through a convincing vote bank.
    I understand that his opponents could not establish required credibility to eclipse his political status.
