Nawaz League caught red-handed !

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz found itself entangled in a controversy on Monday that threatened to undermine its claim of occupying the high moral ground, according to a report by DawnNews.

As Nawaz Sharif addressed supporters in the run-up to a Lahore by-election, his large rally was lit up by extensive use of illegal connections using ‘kunda’ (hooks that are attached to live power cables to secure supply without having to pay for it).

Power utility officials told DawnNews that they would estimate the number of units consumed and bill the user based on that, while Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah tried to distance his party and government from this outrage by blaming an unnamed contractor..........

No political party cares about expenditure incurred on the poor ppl of Pakistan. I am glad the media is highlighting this aspect. They also need to raise the issue of illegal arms on display at these rallies.

I could see the news late night yesterday and then I also watched the press conference of Saad Rafiq. The guy was clearly upset, angry and was trying to justify an act for which they were caught red handed. Even his anger was hitting their own candidate Parvez Malik, as many a times he stopped Malik to speak. I know this guy has an attitude problem.

Geo surprisingly showed live
the theft of electricity in a election meeting of NA 123 where Mian N $ was himself present.
They have won the NA 55 and now need the win in NA 123.
Muslim League N tried an emergency press conference where the only two good faces of N Khawaja Saad Rafeeq and Javed Hashmi tried to clear but badly failed to explain that.

Anything is possible from Nawaz Sharif and his party. Their party is full of credit card chor, rapists, naqal chor, lecturer bashers and God knows what. News like this does not surprise me. They have added a new title to their list of chor bazari. Shame on Sharif brothers.

Both Sharif brothers can win contests of world's biggest begharat. They have looted our nation in the past and currently looting Punjab and now looting electricity in Lahore. How low Sharif brothers will go in their pursuit of creating world record of looting nation wealth and resources.

Sharif brothers are very poor men and they can't afford paying bijli ka bill in Lahore NA-123 jalsa. Nawaz Sharif has been out of power for too long so he does not have any money (mostly dollars) left in his foreign bank accounts. He deserves our zakat so he could rebuild his life again.

NS did wrong,but if i am not mistaken,Khurshid Shah,federal minister,did the same thing for a wedding ceremony of his relative last year!!Why people didn't raise voice on that issue??If government had taken some action to that "Bijli Chori" incident,nothing of that sort would've happened today!!!

back to the real topic....

In pakistan i have never seen any political party getting
proper Electirc connection or paying extra for security ( police Dept ) when t hey have " Jalsa-e-Aam" or corner meetings.

I think City / districts Govt should charge from Political parties for having public gathering like that at public place... after all there gonig to be road blockage, extra use of electric and police and
clean up after "azeem o shaan" jalsa.

Ps: NO charge for any thing from PTI...

jetney voter nhi hotey us bara jalsa ho jata hey na...

There are several points that i would like to highlight.

1: There is no denying in fact that there was kunda connection(as was shown in video footage,was it legal or illegal that's debatable)

2: This 'rally' was arranged inside a private property belonging to a pml leader. Lesco(power company's) chief Azhar Iqbal have categorically stated on live tv talkshow that no electricity was being stolen inside this property where the rally was arranged.All connections were metered and private Generators were present as well.

3: The kunda was hooked up by local town administration to light up the vicinity of the rally. As crowd was expected and because of vvip movement and presence agencies regularly ask town to set up temporary flood lights . If you remember some time back there was a rally in support of Presedent Asif Zardari in Karachi. All the PPP supporters Hyderabad and other nearby areas were also called in to attend the rally. When the rally had reached its final destination in front of Quaid's Mazar the area wasn't lit up and even the street lights were off,which infuriated both Chief Minister Sindh and President. KESC (Karachi's Power company's) spokesperson Ayesha Arabi promptly issued a statement clarify that power company isn't responsible for lighting up the streets or rallies and city govt and its town administration was responsible for street lights. It(KESC) on its part supplied uninterrupted power along the entire route of the rally.An inquiry was conducted and it was found that city govt(MQM's) workers intentionally didn't turned on the lights of the venue.Had it been MQM's rally then all town's trucks and machinery would have been used for lighting up and erecting banners and flags. Just today a MQM labour wing rally took place in Jinnah Ground
Azizabad. Despite the fact that city govt has been dissolved, town's machinery,hardware and transport was extensively used during arrangements and pick n drop of MQM's worker.All the flood lights here too were hooked up directly.

Power and Water is being wasted because its not being metered properly. I won't be surprised that if we start metering both these thing properly then there would be no shortage anymore. When some one would be made to pay from his own pocket then obviously he would not waste it and consume it more wisely and economically.

What is the fuss about? It is just different mode of payment by the nation in that part of the country. Decide how you wanna pay?

PML-N - you will be charged conveniently on your electric bill for the kunda in jalsa

PPP - you will pay thru the soaring prices on consumer goods of all that money laundering

ANP - you will pay by not making to your work due to transportation strikes

PTI - sponsor namal student, if not support taliban, cash or plastic, don't have either donate blood (gotta pay something)

MQM - they only take cash, up front

JI - zakat and donations by people who don't have real jobs

Bijli chori karna buri baat hey aur illegal bhi aur ajkal to KESC waley apna commercial bhi run kar rahien hey. All bijli chor should be exposed and their names should be given in all newspapers. I think all bijli chor should go to jail for atleast 100 days. sharam magar in ko aati nahian
