Malak Ghair Allah (Arabic + English Subs)
What is a difference between a Nasheed, Naat, Hamad or between Nasheed and a song??? Could you please educate me further on this topic?
Nasheed means"poem".I think islamic nasheed means Islamic poem!
thats what i think atleast!:)
Don't talk to me about Muhammad by Dawud Wharnsby
Allah hu Allah by Zain Bhikha
I like Sami Yusaf's "Al-Mualim" the most....
Nasheed means religious or islamic songs
Mesut Kurtis - Every night and every day
UmeR, I didn't know you were as much of a nausheed specialist as the person who first introduced me to this religious art form, RhyMe. The latest song you've posted is a haunting piece. Listened to a few times and never forgotten.
MG, I ain't no nasheed specialist, but I do love to listen to them. They work as a healing balm, and help to pull out the arrows of (shirk/bidah) the majority of Muslims are these days attacked with. And secondly, they also help to stir up the pre-existing love of Allah(swt) and his messenger(saw) and bring it to the surface.
And right, the last nasheed, although of low audio quality, was the best of all I had posted earlier. And I am glad you liked it. :)
Thanks, UmeR. I now understand why. Henceforth, I too will try out this treatment for my often bruised soul.
UmeR, not to forget the new Nasheed you said you'd post. Thanks in advance.
one of my fav...
i just love da rhythm nd rhymes in it...forces me to listen it again and agaiin...
@ MG
This is my favorite nasheed nowadays. ;)
Sound of tears - Nader Khan:
I'll share more later...
t/c
You do have an unerring ear, both of you.
RyhMe, your Mawla ya salli wa sallim will be listened to by me over and over again. Many thanks to you. Where are all the other nasheeds you once posted, you remember? We could add them here as well perhaps.
UmeR, thanks for the extraordinary Sound of Tears. Seems to me I'm being addressed directly. How often I've failed, too, in my covenant to God! May He pardon us all in His infinite mercy.
My Ummah - Sami Yusuf:
You, too, take care, dear UmeR. My Ummah, our Ummah is round the corner. And a place in it for each one of us. Not for the sake of past glory, no, I don't think it's that exactly, but for the glory of Allah. That is what it will be all about. He has given us everything. Now it is our turn to stand up straight and do His essential bidding; reform the Ummah of the Prophet (PBUH) and bring happiness to the world.
@ MG
I think he clears in the first stanza, which glory he is talking about:
My brothers, my sisters, in Islam
Let’s struggle, work, and pray
If we are to
Bring back the glory of his way
"He has given us everything. Now it is our turn to stand up straight and do His essential bidding; reform the Ummah of the Prophet (PBUH) and bring happiness to the world. "
Right. Well said.
Thanks, UmeR. Means a lot to me that you understood what I meant.
@Bro Mirza Ghalib
you're welcome...good that you liked it...those Nasheeds are right here...had to find it for you....
RhyMe, Simply great. I'm delighted we've got them all on the same thread, the ones we listened to then, the ones discovered since. Thank you so very much.
Confession - Nazeel Azami:
Brilliant, UmeR. Many, many thanks.
MG, I'm glad you liked it, even thats one of my favorite nasheeds.
Welcome O Ramadhan-Zain Bhikha
Not only a nasheed, RhyMe, but a whole timely lesson on the meaning of the Holy Month and its do's and don'ts. I am as usual overawed by all that you and UmeR have provided here by way of essential Islamic precepts for all those who, like myself. tend to be ignorant of the intellectual subtleties of our faith. Thank you, RhyMe.
I like this title song of a ramadan program
@MirzaGhalib
yeah bro that was a good reminder as it reminds us of those little things,we were taught once, which we often forget these days....
و ثمن جنه و حور
Thanks, BO, for joining us here with your touching video. Somehow makes the Saudis come alive for us, seeing their youth in action in work and play. We, too, BO, live in hopes of meeting them all in heaven someday.
isn't zain bikkha's voice so attractive?...very sweetly he sings!
For MG :)
Thank you, UmeR, thank you. We had many things already on this thread and now we have a marvellous Azan as well! Allah be with us and listen to our sincere prayers.
RyhMe, when will you be posting your next Zaid Bikha nasheed? He does have a very melodious voice.
bro Ghalib here listen to another melodious voice of Junaid Jamshed...from his latest Album "Hadi ul Anaam"...it will definately have a soothing effect on you ;)...
Great, simply great, RhyMe! Junaid Jamshed did that brilliantly. He'll go far, this young singer. Thanks a million. This one, too, I'll come and listen to when the world outside gets too much for me.
Thanks MG, that was good. Here is another one for you, although you might have listened it before:
UmeR, no, I 'd never heard this one before. Beautifully moving. And true. Thanks.
MG, your friend Musician came up with a beautiful naat as well, I have been reciting that all day, it really is beautiful. So I guess we should add it here in our 'collection'... :)
Bravo, UmeR, I'm absolutely delighted!
RhyMe, extremely original, extremely to the point, extremely well done. The message of harsh words, arrogance and lies reiterated. I'm glad you posted it here so that we at least who come to listen can give our acts a second, searching look and bring them more in conformity with what is required of us. Thanks a lot.
For our UmeR. And also for RhyMe, if she likes M. Kaleem
One of my all time favourite
