Geo is claiming that Benazir is killed in a suicide attack

    Oh my God!!!!!!! this is like a kick in the face of Democracy in Pakistan. I was not a Benazir supporter but she DID not deserve this.
    This is one of the saddest things that could happen in Pakistan right now!! I can't believe this... My Mom just called me and i have been awake since and can't get to sleep.. this is really really sad.

    I have a feeling musharaf is behind this but i really should not point fingers for its wrong. Terrible terrible news

    the fact that she pointed fingers at Q league after the first attack means the geneal opinion will lean towards that opinion now. Q league is out of the game now.

    muharraf wil benefit in case elections have to be cancelled now in face of increasing agitation that is sure to follow

    maybe even RAW trying to create further unrest in pakistan

    what this is definitly not is a "suicide bombing"

    she was shot 5 times followed by an explosion which will be labeled suicide bombing like the previous bombings. expect the govt. to blame this on "extremist elements"

    Yankees are coming! Biggest benefactor, by no doubt is Mush. He must take responsibility for all the bloodshed that’s happening in the country and the Death of BB. Sheeda telly & Chaudry’s better disappear from the face of the politics. No one in our nation would ever do something like this. This brutal act must not be allowed to be exploited by Mush & its so called War of Terror as he is the sole responsible for this chaos. He will try to postpone elections and take brutal actions against Media, Lawyers & Civil society movement. It will give Mush a blank check to kidnap torture and kill any citizen of this country.

    One worry is that how will the people of Sindh, interior Sindh, take this?

    Difficult as it is to raise this at such a time, the question is: who benefits from this? Who could be behind this? I don’t think Musharraf stands as the sole beneficiary. Will this also be swept under the carpet as yet another “suicide bombing” carried out by some mysterious and mythological “terrorist” whose head will be found and rigorous investigation carried out but without any conclusive results? BB and husband Zardari had earlier fingerpointed some influential personalities in the former govt. (that letter they wrote to Musharraf before her arrival to Pakistan). Who were those people by the way?

    hmm if he wanted to do that, you think killing bb was necessary?

    he just imposed emergency in the country for a month without her dying.

    i mean he has been constantly telling her to stop rallying amid security risks and she didnt listen. so now he is to blame?

    in my opinion she should have hired her own security and the police should have been pulled back from her rallies. There is no reason to have civil servants die for a persons decision.

    he shot her first to make sure she was dead and then blew himself up. either way he thought he was doing "jihad" and that he is going to be raised up as a shaheed. this is all the work of brainwashers preying on kids that have no hope or future.

    either way killing civilians is not justified in islam. i never cared for bb, but she didnt deserve to be killed.

    she did not die of a heart attack. she was shot and then the shooter blew himself up to cause maximum damage.

    musharraf cannot bail out by just claiming that he was attacked twice so how can he protect others.

    no it is not musharrafs responsibility to provide security for civilians.

    he actually went above and beyond by informing her of the threat on her life. she chose to ignore the threat.

    Can anybody give us input on two of the following:
    1. I heard that she was standing through the sun-roof of the SUV?
    2. Any other PPP prominent leader died in the attack; what hapenned to Nahid Khan (Her Secretary).

    The President General Pervaiz Musharraf is a liar in his speech,could he explain who tried to KILL THE GREAT CHIEF JUSTICE OF SUPREME COURT CH.IFTIKHAR AND his team in Karachi and than in Islamabd(F-8),all is clear.Who overthrew the Chief Justice and his honourable team,same people would benefit from Great Benazir Bhutto’s death and by killing Nawaz Sharif,ReInstate CH.Justice Iftikhar and Supreme Court .

    Could anyone clear how attempt on Benazir bhutto and at the same time firing on Nawaz Sharif’s car near Rawat are corelated,it seems very clear who did it and why and who would benefit from Dividing the contry .Killing of Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif would benefit only few people in the world and help them to create panic and chaos in Pakistan and break the country as it was done in 1971,who KILLED LIAQAT ALI KHAN ?

    the same powers are doing it again today,think rationally and wake up nation .The military has made a mockery of Pakistan and Pakistani people,they didn’t make Pakistan,Pakistan was made in the name of Islam and we should be proud of our identity,

    Also many people within PPP also wanted to see her dead so they can have the power,even their are few traitors within Benazir Bhutto’s party line,Sherry Rehman and few others would be very happy that GREAT BENAZIR IS DEAD

    And they will compromise with Pig General on number of issues,while Benazir being a politician would have not,as SHE NEVER FEARED THE PHAROH/SADDAM HUSSAIN/HITLER GENERAL MUSHARRAF.

    she had made an alliance with Nawaz Sharif and was about to knock out politically crippling Pig General with the political leaders mentioned above,

    but sad she was killed by them as General Musharraf was threatened by HER becoming Prime Minister.Now General will make sure HE KILLS NAWAZ SHARIF as soon as possible,after all he killed BUGTI too,and so many Pakistanis too.Pakistan has lost a great asset.

    And who will get the ultimate benefit from the killings ? Think and u will all reach to the murderer.

    im ashamed that i live in this Godforsaken country where there is no law ,no protection .where we have to see our leaders killed by some "anonymous" people .where noone of the killer was ever found and brought to justice .where we have lots of unsolved mysteries of murders .
    noone still knows who killed liaqat ali khan .how zia was killed .
    we are a sick nation .we dont deserve democracy we deserve actually nothing .
    we are puppets those who are doing suicide bombing are killers and those so called mullahs who are supporting then are evils .
