We seek reguge in Allah from Satan the rejected.
We ask Allah alone to help His Quran to guide us in truth, through His mercy, for He is the Knower, the Eternal.
[2:3-5] who believe in the unseen, observe the prayers (Salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity. And they believe in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed before you, and with regard to the Hereafter, they are absolutely certain. These are guided by their Lord; these are the winners.
[2:43] You shall observe the prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and bow down with those who bow down.
[2:45] You shall seek help through steadfastness and the prayers (Salat). This is difficult indeed, but not so for the reverent.
[2:153] O you who believe, seek help through steadfastness and the prayers (salat). Allah is with those who steadfastly persevere.
[29:45] "Observe the Salat ( prayers) for it prohibits evil and vice."
[15:98-99] "You shall glorify and praise your Lord and be with the prostrators, and worship your Lord until you attain certainty."
[35:29-30] "Surely, those who recite the book of God, observe the prayers and are charitable both discreetly and openly can hope for an investment that never loses. He will recompense them generously and will multiply His blessings upon them. He is Forgiving, Appreciative."
[29:45] "You shall recite what is revealed to you of the Scripture, and observe the Salat ( prayers), for the Salat prohibits evil and vice. But the remembrance of God is the most important objective. God is aware of all that you do."
[20:14] "I am God, there is no other God but Me, you shall worship Me and observe the Salat ( prayers) to commemorate Me."
[4:43] "O you who believe, do not observe the prayers (Salat) while intoxicated, till your (mind) knows what your (mouth) is saying."
[ Important note for the above verse… by not understanding the utterances in our prayers (due to language issues and not being taught meanings of salaat in childhood) Satan has deceived us by making us pray in a state ‘intoxicated’- our mind doesn’t know what our mouth is saying.]
[5:6] "O you who believe, when you observe the Salat ( prayers) you shall wash your faces, wash your arms to the elbows, wipe your heads and wash your feet to the ankles."
[6:162-163] "Say, "My Salat ( prayers), my worship practices, my life and my death, are all devoted absolutely to God alone, the Lord of the universe. He has no partner. This is what I am commanded to believe, and I am the first to submit."
[23:2] Successful indeed are the believers; who are reverent during their Salat ( prayers)."
[2:43] You shall observe the prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and bow down with those who bow down.
[2:150] "Wherever you go, you shall turn your face (during Salat) towards the Sacred Masjid; wherever you might be, you shall turn your faces (during Salat) towards it."
[2:238] "You shall consistently observe the Salat ( prayers), especially the middle prayer, and stand before God in submission."
[3:39] "The angels called to him as he was standing praying in the sanctuary: "Allah gives you good news of John; a believer in the word of God, honorable, moral, and a righteous prophet."[4:102] "When you are with them, and lead the Salat (Contact Prayer) for them, let a group of them stand with you and let them hold their weapons, and let them stand behind you as you prostrate. Then, let the other group that has not prayed take their turn praying with you, while the others stand guard and hold their weapons."
[22:26] "We appointed Abraham to establish the Shrine: "You shall not idolize any other god beside Me, and purify My shrine for those who visit it, those who live near it, and those who bow and prostrate."
[48:29] "Muhammad (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets)-the messenger of God, and those with him are harsh and stern against the disbelievers, but kind and compassionate amongst themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating, as they seek God's blessings and approval."
[29:45] "You shall recite what is revealed to you of the Scripture (the Quran), and observe the Salat ( prayers)."
[3:113] "They are not all the same; among the followers of the scripture there are those who are righteous. They recite God's revelations through the night while prostrating."
[16:98] "When you read the Quran, you shall seek refuge in God from Satan the rejected."[4:102] " ...... then when they have performed their prostration (fa iza sajadu) let them fall to the rear and let another group come that has not worshipped yet and let them worship with you ......" (ie. Keeping guard during war time salaat)
[2:239] "Under unusual circumstances, you may pray while walking or riding. Once you are safe, you shall commemorate God as He taught you what you never knew."
[18:27] "You shall recite what is revealed to you of your Lord's Scripture (the Quran). Nothing shall abrogate His words, and you shall not find any other source beside it."
[56:74] "You shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great".
[87:1] "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High".
[73:20] Your Lord knows that you meditate (note dhikkr) during two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or one-third of it, and so do some of those who believed with you. GOD has designed the night and the day, and He knows that you cannot always do this. He has pardoned you. Instead, you shall read what you can of the Quran. He knows that some of you may be ill, others may be traveling in pursuit of GOD's provisions, and others may be striving in the cause of GOD. You shall read what you can of it, and observe the prayers (Salat), give the obligatory Charity (Zakat), and lend GOD a loan of righteousness. Whatever good you send ahead on behalf of your souls, you will find it at GOD far better and generously rewarded. And implore GOD for forgiveness. Allah is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
[50:40] "During the night you shall glorify Him, and after prostrating."
[11:114] You shall observe the prayers (Salat) at both ends of the day, and during the night. The righteous works wipe out the evil works. This is a reminder for those who would take heed.
[17:78] You shall observe the Contact Prayer (salat) when the sun declines from its highest point at noon, as it moves towards sunset. You shall also observe (the recitation of) the Quran at dawn. (Reciting) the Quran at dawn is witnessed.[62:9-10] "O you who believe, when the Salat is announced on Friday, you shall hasten to the commemoration of God, and drop all business. This is better for you, if you only knew. Once the prayer is completed, you may spread through the land to seek God's bounties, and continue to remember God frequently, that you may succeed."
[2:143] "We appointed the Qiblah which you formerly observed only that We may know those who follow the messenger from those who turn back on their heels."
[2:149] "Wherever you go, you shall turn your face (during Salat) towards the Sacred Masjid. This is the truth from your Lord. God is never unaware of anything you all do."
[2:144] "We have seen you (O Muhammad (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets)) turning your face about the sky (searching for the right direction). We now assign a Qiblah that is pleasing to you. Henceforth, you shall turn your face towards the Sacred Masjid."
[17:110] Say, "Call Him GOD, or call Him the Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." You shall not utter your prayers (Salat) too loudly, nor secretly; use a moderate tone.
[7:31] O children of Adam, you shall be cleanly and fully/nicely/beautifully dressed when you go to the masjid/make sujood. And eat and drink moderately; Surely, He does not love the gluttons.[4:43] O you who believe, do not observe the prayers (SALAT) while intoxicated, so that you know what you are saying. Nor after sexual orgasm without bathing, unless you are on the road, traveling; if you are ill or traveling, or you had urinary or fecal-related excretion (such as gas), or contacted the women (sexually), and you cannot find water, you shall observe Tayammum (dry ablution) by touching clean dry soil, then wiping your faces and hands therewith. GOD is Pardoner, Forgiver.
[4:101] When you travel, during war, you commit no error by shortening your prayers (salat), if you fear that the disbelievers may attack you. Surely, the disbelievers are your ardent enemies.
[4:103] Once you complete your Contact Prayer (salat), you shall remember (dhikr) GOD while standing, sitting, or lying down. Once the war is over, you shall observe the prayers (salat); the prayers (salat) are decreed for the believers at specific times.[4:142] The hypocrites think that they are deceiving GOD, but He is the One who leads them on. When they get up for the Contact Prayer (salat), they get up lazily. That is because they only show off in front of the people, and rarely do they think of GOD.
[5:6] O you who believe, when you observe the prayers (salat), you shall: (1) wash your faces, (2) wash your arms to the elbows, (3) wipe your heads, and (4) wash your feet to the ankles. If you were unclean due to sexual orgasm, you shall bathe. If you are ill, or traveling, or become unclean (ie. had any digestive excretion (urinary, fecal, or gas), or had (sexual) contact with the women, and you cannot find water, you shall observe the dry ablution (Tayammum) by touching clean dry soil, then rubbing your faces and hands. GOD does not wish to make the religion difficult for you; He wishes to cleanse you and to perfect His blessing upon you, that you may be appreciative.
[5:55] Your real allies are GOD and His messenger, and the believers who observe the prayers (salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and they bow down.[5:91] The devil wants to provoke animosity and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to distract you from remembering Allah, and from observing the prayers (salat). Will you then refrain?
[5:106] O you who believe, witnessing a will when one of you is dying shall be done by two equitable people among you. If you are traveling, then two others may do the witnessing. After observing the Contact Prayer (salat), let the witnesses swear by GOD, to alleviate your doubts: "We will not use this to attain personal gains, even if the testator is related to us. Nor will we conceal GOD's testimony. Otherwise, we would be sinners."
[6:72] "And to observe the prayers (salat), and to reverence Him - He is the One before whom you will be summoned (for the reckoning)."
[7:170] Those who uphold the scripture, and observe the prayers (salat), we never fail to recompense the pious.
[9:18] The only people to frequent GOD's masjids are those who believe in GOD and the Last Day, and observe the prayers (salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and do not fear except GOD. These will surely be among the guided ones.
[9:54] What prevented the acceptance of their spending is that they disbelieved in GOD and His messenger, and when they observed the prayers (Salat), they observed them lazily, and when they gave to charity, they did so grudgingly.
[9:71] The believing men and women are allies of one another. They advocate righteousness and forbid evil, they observe the prayers (salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and they obey GOD and His messenger. These will be showered by GOD's mercy. GOD is Almighty, Most Wise.
[10:87] We inspired Moses and his brother. "Maintain your homes in Egypt for the time being, turn your homes into synagogues, and maintain the prayers (salat). Give good news to the believers."
[14:31] Exhort My servants who believed to observe the prayers (salat), and to give (to charity) from our provisions to them, secretly and publicly, before a day comes where there is neither trade, nor nepotism.
[19:59] After them, He substituted generations who lost the prayers (salat), and pursued their lusts. They will suffer the consequences.
[20:132] You shall enjoin your family to observe the prayers (salat), and steadfastly persevere in doing so. We do not ask you for any provisions; we are the ones who provide for you. The ultimate triumph belongs to the righteous.[21:73] We made them imams who guided in accordance with our commandments, and we taught them how to work righteousness, and how to observe the prayers (salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat). To us, they were devoted worshipers.
[22:35] They are the ones whose hearts tremble upon mentioning GOD, they steadfastly persevere during adversity, they observe the prayers (salat), and from our provisions to them, they give to charity.
[22:41] They are those who, if we appointed them as rulers on earth, they would establish the prayers (salat) and the obligatory charity (Zakat), and would advocate righteousness and forbid evil. GOD is the ultimate ruler.[24:37] People who are not distracted by business or trade from commemorating GOD; they observe the prayers (salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), and they are conscious of the day when the minds and the eyes will be horrified.
[29:45] You shall recite what is revealed to you of the scripture, and observe the prayers (salat), for the prayers prohibit evil and vice. But the remembrance of GOD (through salat) is the most important objective. GOD knows everything you do.
[30:31] You shall submit to Him, reverence Him, observe the prayers (salat), and - whatever you do - do not ever fall into idol worship.
[35:29] Surely, those who recite the book of GOD, observe the prayers (salat), and from our provisions to them they spend - secretly and publicly - are engaged in an investment that never loses.[42:38] They respond to their Lord by observing the prayers (salat). Their affairs are decided after due consultation among themselves, and from our provisions to them they give (to charity).
[74:41-44] About the guilty. "What brought you to this retribution?" They will say, "We did not observe the prayers (Salat). "We did not feed the poor.
[74:1-7] O you hidden secret. Come out and warn. Extol your Lord. Purify your garment. Forsake what is wrong. Be content with your lot. Steadfastly commemorate your Lord.
[98:5] All that was asked of them was to worship GOD, devoting the religion absolutely to Him alone, observe the prayers (salat), and give the obligatory charity (Zakat). Such is the perfect religion.
[87:1] "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High (Al-Alaa)."
[56:96] "You shall glorify the name of your Lord, the Great (Al-Azeem)."[10:9-10] "As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, their Lord guides them by virtue of their belief. Rivers will flow beneath them in the garden of bliss. Their prayer therein is, 'Be You Glorified our God' their greeting therein is, 'Peace' and the ending/conclusion of their prayer is, Praise be to God, Lord of the universe"
[2:125] this verse states that we should pick up our ‘musallan’ – (the offered prayer format) from the ‘station of abraham’(maqaam e ibraheem) and this is probably why it is essential for each muslim to visit Ka’bah once in their lifetime. So if you now take all the above verses and add to that the taking of the basic example from the imam at the Makkah Sacred mosque… then you are complete.
FIVE PRAYERS A DAY AND THEIR TIME :
God gave us the times for the Salat (contact Prayers) in the Quran :
(1) The Dawn Prayer (Fajr in Arabic) given in 11:114, 24:58
(2) The Noon Prayer (Zuher in Arabic) , given in 17:78 and 30:18
(3) The Afternoon Prayer (Asr in Arabic), given in 2:238
(4) The sunset Prayer (Maghrib in Arabic), given in 11:114
(5) The Night Prayer (Isha in Arabic), given in 24:58So that’s all aspects of Salaat complete…..Alhamdulillah except
Well?? Where do we get Allahu Akbar from then???? And other aspects.
6:78 "When he (Abraham) saw the sun rising, he said, "This must be my Lord. This is the biggest (Akbar)."
Abraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) used the word Akbar to describe what he believed could only be from the Lord, because the Lord must be the greatest.
Abraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) was the one who received the Salat rituals, and the one who qualified what he thought the Lord as Akbar.
We need to remind ourselves that we inherited the Salat rituals and those numbers from Abraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) generation after generation. We keep doing the same numbers in our daily Salat mainly because of so.
GOD asks us to remember Him during Hajj. Of course going to Mecca and the Hajj rituals are forms of praising, glorifying, and commemorating Him. Muslims use a special and beautiful formula while walking around the Ka'ba which is: "Labbayka Alaahumma Labbayka" (Here
I am my God, I have responded to You, here I am). "Labbayka Laa Shareeka Laka Labbayk" (Here I am I have responded to You, and I proclaimed that there is no other god besides You; here I am I have responded to You)...
This formula is not in Quran. Should we then change it to something else? We don't think so.
We are doing 5 Salats daily because this is what it comes to us from Abraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets), generation after generation. Now we can see four mentioned Salat in the Quran, (three of the four by name) and also the middle prayer. There is no middle for a four prayer, and five prayers as we inherited them is the next logical acceptable number.
The Khutba (Friday's ceremony) and how to do it are not in Quran. Should we disregard it ?? Or should we just accept it and do it the way we are doing now because this is what we inherited from Abraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) confirmed by Muhammad (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) and not contradicting Quran.READ THE CONCLUSION BELOW – INSHA ALLAH
Well we definitely should draw a line somewhere.
But where???
Should we take the whole Salat rituals (including the number of Rukoo and Sujud and what to say) from Quran alone, or just follow what we received from Abraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets), generation after generation, unless if there is something against the spirit of Quran such as praising Muhammad (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) and his family.
We have this incident in the life of Islam where the rituals of Islam, including Salat, Zakat, Hajj and Fasting were corrected or approved as it was,
By the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets), a continuation of what Abraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) was practicing.
God's messengers DO NOT contradict each other but confirm what was previously revealed by God. God never sent a messenger to correct the mistakes of another messenger.
Allah has perfectly preserved muslim Salaat in many forms on earth,,, Alhamdulillah
Just like when the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) was sent with Quran, there already was a corrupted salaat, it just needed correcting… The meccans had turned the AAbraham (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets)ic prayer into pagan idol worship. So Allah guided his apostle (and us) to use the Quran-al-Hakeem as a furqan (criterion) so that we may eternally keep our Salaat pure… Alhamdulillah.

If one learned any salaat - shia , sunni etc, and If one were to apply what they read above from Quran, and truly pondered it (as we are asked to do by Allah swt) trying to get out the max u can and one purifies ones salaat with fear of Allah……..
and if one still thinks they require more info ( other than what is there in Quran)……

SO TO CONCLUDE….
OUR RELIGION OF ISLAM = ONLY THOSE UNIVERSAL PRACTISES THAT TOTALLY AGREE WITH ALLAHS TEACHINGS AS TAUGHT THROUGH THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) IN THE QURAN.
GOD ALONE + THE INFALLIBLE WORDS AS DELIVERED THROUGH MUHAMMAD (peace be upon him and all Allah’s prophets) ALONE.
"We have given them a scripture that is fully detailed, with knowledge, guidance, and mercy for the people who believe." 7:52
"This Quran could not possibly be authored by other than God. It confirms all previous messages, and provides a fully detailed scripture. It is infallible; for it comes from the Lord of the universe." 10:37
"In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not a fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe."12:111
"We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach you Lord, using the QURAN ALONE, they run away in aversion." 17:46
"You shall recite what is revealed to you of your Lord's scripture. Nothing shall abrogate His words, and you shall not find any other source beside it." 18:27
"We have cited in this Quran every kind of example, but the human being is the most argumentative creature." 18:54
"Say, 'If the ocean were ink for the words of my Lord, the ocean would run out, before the words of my Lord run out, even if we double the ink supply.'"
"Say, 'I am no more than a human like you, being inspired that your god is one god. Those who hope to meet their Lord shall work righteousness, and never worship any other god beside his Lord.'" 18:109-110

Salaam to all.One of the most asked question that we get is the title of this page.
This question of potential believers exposes lack of knowledge of the Quran as well as proves that their religion, as practiced, is based purely on heresy and conjecture of their parents, scholars or local mullahs.
There are three implications of the Question above:
1. An implication that challenges God's assertion and a subconscious effort to prove that God is wrong in His repeated assertions that Quran is "Complete", "Perfect" and "Fully Detailed".
2. An implication that Hadith contains the details of Salat and therefore Hadith other than the Quran can be used for religious law.
3- An implication that God is wrong in teaching us in the Quran, that all the rituals of Islam, including Salat were given to Abraham.
Those who are knowledgeable of the Quran know that there are two sources for the religion of Islam (Submission in English).
1. The Quran which is COMPLETE, PERFECT and fully details all religious LAW.
2. Religious practices given to Prophet Abraham and passed on to us generation after generation since the time of Abraham.
Quran teaches us in no uncertain terms that Abraham is the founder of Islam as it is practiced today. As such, what did Abraham contribute to our daily life as Muslims?
Quran teaches us that ALL RELIGIOUS PRACTICES IN ISLAM, (Salat, Zakat, Fasting, & Hajj) came to us from Abraham, generation after generation.
Majority of Muslims always ask, how can these practices come to us from Abraham and not from Muhammad. They do not trust that God Almighty can preserve His own religious practices (rituals) to give to us pure, clear and complete.
In other words, all religious practices in Islam existed before Muhammad. Muhammad's sole mission was to deliver the Quran.
"Your ONLY mission (O Muhammad) is to deliver (Quran), while it is we who will call them to account." 13:40
"You (O Muhammad) have no duty EXCEPT delivering (Quran)." 42:48
"The messenger has no function EXCEPT delivering (Quran)..." 5:99
It is also interesting to know that many of these Muslims who ask the question do not know that, the Hadith and Sunna books do not have enough information about how to perform Salat, the number of Rakaat (units), or what to say in them.
The Hadiths and Sunna books are rather full of contradictory statements.
NOT a single time, was the prophet Muhammad reported as telling the people; let me tell you how to perform your Salat prayers, or let me tell you the number of Rakaat in the prayers.
Had Muhammad willed or was of his duties to teach the community their prayer and the number of Rakaat, he would have done such that, and in the public arena for everyone to witness it. It never happened. Because the Prophet Muhammad and the people before him were given the ways to pray, handed down from Abraham through generations of believers who kept the prayers intact as God promised. God would not have told Muhammad to follow the religion of Abraham if no one knows or practices that religion.
Abraham was the founder of Islam (Submission in English) as we practice it today, and the one who called us "Muslims" (Submitters in English).
"You shall strive in the cause of God as you should. He has blessed you, and imposed no hardship in your religion; the RELIGION OF YOUR FATHER ABRAHAM, Abraham is the one who named you "Muslims" in the beginning. Thus, the messenger serves as witness among you, just as you serve as a witness among the people. Therefore, you shall observe the Salat prayers, give the Zakat charity, and hold fast to God; He is your Lord; the best Lord, and the best supporter." 22:78
"Abraham was neither Jewish , nor Christian; he was a monotheist; a Muslim; he never was an idol-worshiper. The people most worthy of following Abraham are those who follow him and this prophet (Muhammad), and those who believed. God is the Lord of the believers." 3:67-68
"Then we inspired you (O Muhammad) to follow the religion of Abraham, monotheism; never was he an idol-worshiper." 16:123
Logically, if Muhammad was a follower of Abraham, and we are followers of Muhammad, then we are followers of Abraham. What did we and Muhammad learn from Abraham ???
The Quran teaches us that we learned ALL THE RELIGIOUS PRACTICES of Islam from Abraham. The whole Arabian society before and during the time of Muhammad had many followers of the religion of Abraham. Thus Abu Lahab, Abu Jahl, and the idolators of Quraish used to observe Salat prayers as we can see in 8:33-35.
"...Their SALAT PRAYERS at the shrine were no more than deceit and repulsion. ..."
In Sura 73, few weeks after the revelation of the Quran, 73:20 is telling the Muslims to observe the SALAT and Zakat. Does it make sense that God would issue a commandment to observe something not already known.???
"......and observe the SALAT and ZAKAT, and lend God a loan of righteousness. Whatever you advance for your souls, you will find at God better and multiplied manifold....." 73:20.
In 2:128 we see Abraham and Ismail implore God to teach them "THE RELIGIOUS PRACTICES OF ISLAM"
"As Abraham raised the foundation of Ka'ba, together with Ismail, they prayed, 'Our Lord, accept this work from us; You are the Hearer, the Omniscient. Our Lord, and make us Muslims (Submitters) to You and from our descendants let there be a nation of Muslims (Submitters) to you; AND TEACH US HOW TO PRACTICE OUR RELIGIOUS DUTIES, and redeem us; You are the Redeemer, the Merciful'" 2:127-128
The Prophets and Messengers prior to Abraham were not given any religious practices. The human society was so primitive, only BELIEF IN GOD ALONE was all that is required for salvation. See for example Sura 71, entitles "Noah" Thus, religious practices appear in Quran ONLY after ABRAHAM; never before him.
"(O Children of Israel) you shall observe the SALAT PRAYERS & ZAKAT charity; you shall bow down with those who bow." 2:125MORE PROOFS THAT SALAT OBSERVED BEFORE MUHAMMAD.
"O Mary (Mariam), you shall obey your Lord, and shall prostrate and bow down with those who bow down." 3:43
"(Jesus said) God has made me blessed wherever I go, and He commanded me to observe the SALAT PRAYERS and ZAKAT charity for as long as I live." 19:31
But the Jews and Christians lost the SALAT PRAYERS, changed it and invented their own.
"Generations came thereafter who LOST the SALAT prayers, and pursued their lusts." 19:59
If we look in the oldest prayer books for the Jews we can still see their prayers very similar to what the Muslims do today, they bow down and fall prostrate. There are remnant of the SALAT prayers among the Jews, namely the Samaritans, and the Christians (the Russian Orthodox Church). It is noteworthy that the Samaritan Jews have denounced the man-made commandments of Talmud, and decided to adhere to the word of God ALONE, i.e. Torah. (See "The Myth of God Incarnate", page 117)MORE PROOFS:
" And we granted him (Abraham) Isaac and Jacob as a gift, and we made them righteous. And we appointed them Imams who guide in accordance with our commandments. AND WE TAUGHT THEM RIGHTEOUS WORKS AND THE OBSERVANCE OF SALAT AND ZAKAT.' 21:72-73
Unfortunately, this plain Quranic truth is not accessible by those who keep trying to prove that Quran is not complete. First they have to come to sincere conviction that Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed; they have to believe their Lord. Once they attain this conviction, the shields will be removed from around their hearts, the deafness will be removed from their ears and they will become worthy of the Quranic truth.FASTING CAME TO US VIA ABRAHAM: then modified in the Quran.
"You are permitted to have sexual intercourse with your wives during the night of fasting; they are your confidantes, and you are their confidantes. God knew that you used to betray your souls in the past. He has redeemed you, and He has pardoned you. Henceforth, you may have intercourse with them, seeking what God has permitted for you." part of 2:187
"O you who believe, fasting is decreed for you, AS IT WAS DECREED for those before you, that you may attain salvation." 2:183HAJJ (Pilgrimage) : came to us VIA ABRAHAM: Please note that the same verse also mention the SALAT prayers bowing down and prostrating.
"We pointed out to Abraham the location of the shrine, and directed him to worship NONE beside Me, and to purify My shrine for those who would visit it, those who would retreat therein, and those who would BOW DOWN AND PROSTRATE. And you shall declare (O Abraham) that the people shall observe HAJJ. They will then come to you , walking or riding, from the farthest places." 22:26-27MORE PRAYERS or SAME PRAYERS ?!
All Muslims (Submitters) know that God ordered us to do five contact prayers (Salat) every day. Traditional sectarian Muslims, call these five prayers, "fard" or obligatory. They believe that there are other prayers (Sunnah) which should also be done for extra credit. However we will illustrate here how the number of prayers, number of units, and even the names of the prayers are mathematically coded. This means that adding prayers disrupts the intricate code that God has created and designed into the contact prayers. Adding extra prayers to what God ordered is like a person taking extra medicine on his own to feel much better than what his/her doctor told him to take, it can kill him instead of helping him. Of course that does not mean that we should not worship to gain extra credit! On the contrary, God tells us exactly what we should do for extra credit.
"During the night, you shall meditate for extra credit, that your Lord may raise you to an honorable rank. And say, "My Lord, admit me an honorable admittance, and let me depart an honorable departure, and grant me from You a powerful support." 17:79-80
In this verse and several others, God tells us to meditate on Him and to fall prostrate during the night for extra credit. He does not tell us to do extra Contact prayers (Salat). In fact God tells us :
"...the contact prayers (Salat) are decreed for the believers at specific times. " 4:103
SALAT (CONTACT PRAYERS ) IN THE QURAN:
Many Muslims do not know that all the five prayers are mentioned in the Quran, their time is clearly mentioned in several verses and that all the steps we do are found also in the Quran.
{1} FIVE PRAYERS A DAY AND THEIR TIME :
God gave us the times for the Salat (contact Prayers) in the Quran :
(1) The Dawn Prayer (Fajr in Arabic) given in 11:114, 24:58
(2) The Noon Prayer (Zuher in Arabic) , given in 17:78 and 30:18
(3) The Afternoon Prayer (Asr in Arabic), given in 2:238
(4) The sunset Prayer (Maghrib in Arabic), given in 11:114
(5) The Night Prayer (Isha in Arabic), given in 24:58
As you can see from the Quran, God tells us to do our Contact prayers (Salat) at specific times, and then He tells us what these times are.
{2} TAKBEER (Glorification of God), Allahu Akbar : The Takbeer (glorification of God) by saying Allahu Akbar for example can be found in 17:111, 2:185, 22 :37, 74:3, and 29:45
[17:110-111] " Say, "Call Him GOD, or call Him the Most Gracious; whichever name you use, to Him belongs the best names." You shall not utter your Contact Prayers (Salat) too loudly, nor secretly; use a moderate tone. And proclaim: "Praise be to GOD, who has never begotten a son, nor does He have a partner in His kingship, nor does He need any ally out of weakness," and magnify Him constantly (Kabberho Takbeera)."

La Elaha Ella Allah (There is no god but God).
The Shahada recited after the prostration of the second Rakaat and at the end of the prayers can be found in 3:18. This is the Shahada of God, the angels and those who possess knowledge. The Shahada of the hypocrites can be found in 63:1
[3:18] "GOD bears witness that there is no god except He, (La Elaha Ella Ho, Ho in reference to God, Allah ) and so do the angels and those who possess knowledge. Truthfully and equitably, He is the absolute god; there is no god but He, the Almighty, Most Wise."BUT WHY CAN'T WE........... ?
But why can't we pray more than what God told us to pray ? There are two parts to the answer of this question. The first part has to do with the source of our religious practice. If God tells you in the Quran to pray five specific prayers, and you say," But the Hadith books said to pray more" . Does this mean God does not know what to order ?! Does this mean God is not clear ? when He said the prayers are set for specific times. All Muslims world-wide agree on the five Contact Prayers (Salat), how many units they should be, and when they should be prayed. But no two sects agree on the Sunnah prayers. Isn't this exactly like the example given in the Quran :
"God cites the Example of a man who deals with disputing partners (i.e. Hadith), compared to a man who deals with only one consistent source (Quran). Are they the same ? Praise be to God; most of them do not know. (39:29)
The second part of the answer has to do with the mathematical proof of the Contact Prayers (Salat).Units of Contact Prayers
There is no dispute concerning the number of units (Rak'ahs) in all five daily prayers enjoined by God for Abraham and his followers. They are universally accepted to be 2, 4, 4, 3, and 4 units, respectively, for the above prayers listed. These are considered as the obligatory units ordained by God. Other additional units practiced by the traditional Muslims are disputed and vary according to different sects, from none to as many as 10 units per prayer. These extra prayers are con-sidered Sunnah, something that Prophet Muhammad was claimed to have done. However, establishing re-ligious rites that are not authorized by God is a gross offense. Prophet Muhammad or any messenger of God would never disobey God by adding or even slightly changing anything that God had enjoined them to do. People who follow these practices not only disobey God, but they also make the religion difficult for themselves, and for their children. God tells us in the Quran that He does not want hardship for us:
He has chosen you and placed no hardship on you in practicing your religion.... (22:78)
THE CORRUPTION OF SALAT:
Those who refused to believe God in His book, the Quran that the Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed are deprived by God from performing the correct Salat. God let them wonder in the dark and pick bets and pieces that nullified their Salat for them. They insisted that God is not enough for them and God insisted on leaving them in the dark. God did not wrong them but they are the ones who wronged their own souls.
The following are some specific examples of how Salat has been corrupted and lost its form as given by God and as practiced by the Prophet Muhammad himself . It is the corrupted scholars and their blind followers who practice this corruption up to this time.
CORRUPTION ONE Ablution: Verse 5:6 give four steps for ablution. However, the potential muslims of today have their own rules.
[5:6] "O you who believe, when you observe the Contact Prayers (Salat), you shall: (1) wash your faces, (2) wash your arms to the elbows, (3) wipe your heads, and (4) wash your feet to the ankles"CORRUPTION TWO :
[72:18] "The places of worship belong to God; do not call on anyone else besides God."
The overwhelming majority of the mosques of the world do not follow the following crucial commandment. The name of Muhammad is placed next to the name of God in most mosques. The name of Muhammad is called upon together with the name of God in Azaan. The Muslims nullify their Salat by adding the name of Muhammad to the shahaada decreed by God "La ellaha ella Allah" [3:18 & other verses]CORRUPTION THREE :
[2:37] "Adam received from his Lord words, whereby God redeemed him; He is the Redeemer, Most Merciful." (2:37)
Adam had to utter specific words in order to be redeemed by God. Similarly, God has given us specific words - the words of Sura 1, Al fateha, in order to establish daily contact (Salat) with Him, in order to be redeemed. The Muslims of today when praying in congregation ignore the first numbered verse of the Quran, the first verse of sura Al-fatihah, the Basmallah. Instead, when they reach the end of Al-fatihah, they shout in unison: "AAAAMEEEN" - a non-Arabic, a non-Quranic word!!!! They removed the verse that has the words of God and added instead a non-Quranic word.CORRUPTION FOUR :
The Quran commands us to use a moderate tone is Salat. But the potential Muslims have their own rules regarding the tone used, they pray in complete silence in some part of the prayers in defiance of the decree in the Quran. in 17:110
[17:110] You shall not utter your Contact Prayers (Salat) too loudly, nor secretly; use a MODERATE tone."CORRUPTION FIVE:
After reciting Al-fatihah the potential Muslims recite other chapters from the Quran. An addition that is not supported by the Quran and which introduces into the Salat other names to share with the name of God, for which our Salat should be devoted. One of their favorite Suras is Sura 112. What logical sense does it make that when we are performing our contact prayers (Salat) that we tell God, "Say/Proclaim, `He is the One..'"!? This statement should be directed to the creatures of God and not to the One who is KNOWER of Everything.
Sura 112:1-4 is reproduced below.
[112:1-4] Proclaim, "He is the One and only GOD. "The Absolute GOD. "Never did He beget. Nor was He begotten. "None equals Him."THEY STILL INSIST :
Even after showing all this Quranic evidence to those who do not believe God, you will note that they insist on their ways. They may ask you again and after all that ; "Where are the details of SALAT prayers in the Quran" ? Until they decide to believe their Creator in His repeated assertions that the Quran is complete, perfect and fully detailed, they can never see the Quranic truth. This is documented in 18:57;
"Who is more wicked than one who is reminded of the verses of His Lord, then disregard them, while unaware of his sin ? Consequently, we place shields on their hearts, to prevent them from understanding (Quran), and deafness in their ears. Thus, if you invite them to the guidance, they can NEVER EVER be guided." 18:57

God teaches us in the Quran that HE gave all rituals of Islam to Abraham NOT to Muhammad.
"As Abraham raised the foundation of Ka'ba, together with Ismail, they prayed, 'Our Lord, accept this work from us; You are the Hearer, the Omniscient. Our Lord, and make us Muslims (Submitters) to You and from our descendants let there be a nation of Muslims (Submitters) to you; AND TEACH US HOW TO PRACTICE OUR RELIGIOUS DUTIES, and redeem us; You are the Redeemer, the Merciful'" 2:127-128
Of course the corruptors of religion tried to give this credit to Muhammad, but their words cannot be accepted in face of what GOD Himself says in the Quran. Quran is the end of Islam, not its beginning as some people imagine. Muhammad was the Last prophet in Islam, but he was its first.
"You shall strive in the cause of God as you should. He has blessed you, and imposed no hardship in your religion; the RELIGION OF YOUR FATHER ABRAHAM, Abraham is the one who named you "Muslims" in the beginning. Thus, the messenger serves as witness among you, just as you serve as a witness among the people. Therefore, you shall observe the Salat prayers, give the Zakat charity, and hold fast to God; He is your Lord; the best Lord, and the best supporter." 22:78
"Abraham was neither Jewish , nor Christian; he was a monotheist; a Muslim; he never was an idol-worshiper. The people most worthy of following Abraham are those who follow him and this prophet (Muhammad), and those who believed. God is the Lord of the believers." 3:67-68
"Then we inspired you (O Muhammad) to follow the religion of Abraham, monotheism; never was he an idol-worshiper." 16:123
All rituals of Islam given before the Quran including Salat, Zakat hajj, fasting... as we saw on 2:127-128.
God created Hajj to all the Muslims from around the world to meet with Abraham and his children and grand children to teach them and confirm with them the correct practices of Islam. This Hajj practice never stopped since Abraham, several thousands years ago.
Salat came to us through generations after generations who met yearly in Hajj since Abraham and NONE of them ever came back telling the Muslims to do different Salat for example. This universally accepted Salat does not contradict the Quran and goes along the fact that Salat is older than the Quran. In the third revelation of the Quran, 73:20, God ordered Muhammad and the believers to do "The" Salat and pay "THE" Zakat, not just any Salat or any Zakat.
This "THE" Salat means it is something already known to Muhammad and the believers and not something left for Muhammad or everyone to innovate.
In brief, every movement or say in our Salat came to us as inherited practice from Abraham who was the first and ONLY prophet to receive rituals of Islam.

They have clearly done a lot of reading into Quran and just because we may not agree in their leaders messengership doesnt mean that one cant look at their translation of text (and of course I never rely on any single translatory effort anyway.... youve gotto go to the arabic and comparative translations and related verses thoroughly before arriving at any conclusion... thats just how all knowledge is gained anyways).

The Major Ablution
Following any sexual activity that results in a climax (orgasm/ejaculation), one must bath or take a shower (4:43).
The Dry Ablution (Tayammum)
If water is not available, one must touch clean dry soil, then wipe his hands and face. This suffices as a substitute for ablution (4:43, 5:6).
What Nullifies Ablution
Digestive excretions through the intestines, including gas, solids, or urine nullify ablution. Sleeping also nullifies ablution, since one becomes unaware. Thus one may observe a number of Contact Prayers with one ablution, provided he or she does not go to the bathroom, pass gas, or fall asleep.
HOW TO PERFORM THE CONTACT PRAYERS
1. Face the direction of Mecca (Qiblah):
This is an organizational point decreed by God in 2:125. God wills that all submitters must face the same direction when they observe the contact prayers. In the U.S.A., the direction is slightly South of East.
2. The Intention
In your own language, secretly or audibly, state your intention that you are about to observe the Contact Prayer. Remember to state the time (Dawn, Noon, Afternoon, Sunset, or Night).
3. Raise your hands to the sides of your face:
Your thumbs touch your ears, and the palms of your hands face forward.
4. Say "Allahu Akbar".
As you raise your hands to the sides of your face, then move them down to your sides in a continuous motion, you say, "Allahu Akbar" (God is Great). This opens up the prayer. You are in contact with your Creator.
5. The Standing Position:
You are now standing with you arms resting naturally at your side. Some people place the left hand on the stomach, and the right hand on top of the left hand. Either position is correct - you may place your hands on your stomach while standing, or you may let your arms hang down by your sides.
6. Recite "The Key" (Sura 1) in Arabic:
We learn from 2:37 that God gives us the words by which we establish contact with Him. We must utter the specific sounds dictated in "The Key". A translation of "The Key" would be human-made. The Arabic sounds of "The Key" represent a numerical combination that opens the treasure. Like a telephone number, unless a specific numbers are dialed, contact cannot be established. This is all the Arabic you need. Everything else can be said in your language. Reciting "The Key" in Arabic unifies all Submitters of the world, regardless of their languages.

During prostration you say, "Subhaana Rabbiyal A

The Dawn Prayer
This Contact Prayer consists of 2 units.
Repeat steps 5 through 11.
Thus, when you get from the second prostration you say, "Allahu Akbar," and assume the sitting position. While in the sitting position you pronounce the First Pillar of Submission, the shahhaadah:
Ash-Hadu An Laa Elaaha Ellaa Allah, Wahdahu Laa Shareeka Lah.
(I bear witness that there is no other god beside God. He ALONE is God; He has no partner).Look to the right and say, "Assalaamu Alaikum," then to the left and say the same. This completes the Dawn Prayer.
The Noon Prayer
This prayer consists of 4 units. Thus, you do the first two units exactly as explained for the Dawn Prayer up to the sitting position. You pronounce the First Pillar (known as "Shahaadah") then you stand up for the third unit. You do not utter the Salaams (Assalamu Alaikum).
As you stand up for the third unit you say, "Allahu Akbar." The third and fourth units are identical to the first two units.
When you get up from the second prostration of the fourth unit, you say "Allahu Akbar" and you assume the sitting position. In the sitting position you pronounce the Shahaahah, and you say the Salaams on both sides. This concludes the Noon Prayer.
The Afternoon Prayer
This prayer is identical to the Noon Prayer. Only the "Intention" of course is different.
The Sunset Prayer
This prayer consists of three units. Steps of each unit are just as detailed above. Thus, when you complete the second prostration of the second unit, you assume the sitting position, recite the Shahaadah, then you continue to the third and last unit. After the second prostration of the third unit, you assume the setting position, recite the Shahaadah again, then utter the Salaams on both sides. This concludes the Sunset Prayer.
The Night Prayer
This prayer is identical with the other 4-unit prayers, the Noon and the Afternoon Prayers.
