about the topic

scotland yard is not being allowed to move freely or conduct their investigation freely .FIA is feeding them with their results .
i keep my fingers crossed about their investigation but still my hopes are not high .

this is really sad

all of us are here with the same basic desire, we want betterment for our country, yet we treat each other like our worst enemies

if educated and literate people on this forum cannot show tolerance for other people's opinions, then how will we instill tolerance, the very basis and fundamental of a democratic society, into our country and 160 million people, half of whom have never read a word

i would urge everybody once again to just try and show a bit more tolerance and not start hate posts based on difference of opinion/view/political affiliation

i think UN has better credentials as compare to scotland yard ,in Hariri case they clearly found that top Syrian and Lebanese officials were involved in the detailed plans for Hariri's assassination .
i fail to fathom why scotland yard is given preference when they are not even allowed to probe freely and istead they are getting feed back from pakistani officials .

aishasana, a gross ignoramus is 44 times worse than an ordinary ignoramus. Just leave him to his 'wisdom'. You are right about the UN having better credentials, if only as an international authority. However, as the French foreign minister has already said, the UN can only be brought in if the matter pertains to a problem between two, or more, states. The UN has rules, unlike in our country where all rules can be made and bent according to the wishes of a dictator. The dictator just has to think of something and then order his minions to put it into law affecting the lives of millions. If the People's Party really wants the UN to get involved, it should involve Afghanistan into the equation. Musharraf has already provided the pretext by accusing Baitullah Mehsud of the assassination. Baitullah Mehsud is the Pakistani Taliban leader connected with the Afghan Taliban through their common struggle. But this line will only work if the UN Security Council is favourable. Judging by the statements of the various players, I don't think it is likely.
