    Exactly what does a person's affiliation have to do with anything here?

    Must you engage in drawing borders and dividing this forum into "us" and "them"?? Isn't there enough division in this world as it is?

    The merit of a particular argument should be judged by the argument and not the author. That's the whole point of an online debate forum.

    i have stated very early in my time on this forum that in matters of religion i do not consider myself affiliated with any particular religious group. I do not wish to have the prejudices (good or bad) of any group attached me or my arguments.

    atleast we are supportin humanity...which we are first and thn sumone else..if you cant be a gud human being..thn i dnt need to say who you are....guys..keep up the gud work..!

    i dnt supprt jagajaats unethical behavior.it was kiddish the least I say..and needs to grow up..and start behaving..….but our very own rrespected salam sb was a part of it...and instead of showing behavior like FJ did to keep quiet....he kept triggerin jaggajaat...and provoking him....so for me..he was a part of it as well...!! .and by showing how someone died...you actually show your INTELLECT..and decency i shud say.is tht the pinnacle of your so called sea of wisdom??..it reminds me of aethiest and christians and kaafir ppl whn they say stuff about our Prophet(PBUH) abt his marriages and his personal life…they(prophets) were all human beings..if any of our beloved prophets like hazrat Moosa AS had any problems with speaking and whn other make fun of him….are you ready to take tht...NO..so respect others..and thr believes...may it be any….i dnt wwant a debate if he was a prophet or not…but do you think if he was ..thn he was above all illnesses?? He shud ve been a machine…you never know whn you and I would die and in which condition…regardless of how noble and pious we are…does tht make us a symbol of shame fr the remaining??!!...you are the one I always see taking this point of how he died up repeatedly…and then you call yerself an intellectual….you should review your state of mind..!!

    i think salam is the only one who is trying to ignite hate and triggerr a class fight here..with zingaro...(out of my surprise)..who has finally asked the question...making us all divide....and keepin a few like you on one side..this is a shame.....based on sect and beliefs…I think we are here to represent a nation…which has so many beliefs..so if a few want us to divide and become separate.. I dare call them the culprits…!!

    Bajwa…I dnt care who you are and whd your beliefs are…you talk sense..and I m there fr yer help if you need me….i always read you with an open mind…regardless of who you are…!!

    salam is a bad presence on this site who does not observe the coc. He should be banned to improve the standard of this site. Please make sure he observes the COC.

    Actually their is very simple rule which is missed to understand bfore opening such thread,,

    NO NON-MUSLIM PERSONALITY CAN BE EVER A ROLE MODEL FOR MUSLIMS AS A WHOLE...

    But the achievements are neccessary to take over and master it if needed......

    So abdus salam can never be a role model for Pakistanis..But efforts should be put to achieve scientific advancements..
    This is ISLAMIC CODE OF ETHICS TO FOLLOW.........like it or not....

    So a man's ability to lead, his ability to teach and his contributions to humanity are to be considered second-rate and unsuitable for emulation simply because he is not "muslim"??

    Abdus Salam can be a role model to Pakistanis because being a pakistani has nothing to do with your religion. It may have been a nation to give freedom from persecution to muslims, but it was never envisioned as a nation where only muslims would be granted rights.

    Abdus Salam did something great for Pakistan and he brought honor to this country. And thus he is a role model for ALL pakistanis IRRESPECTIVE OF RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION.

    THis primitive communal segregation is precisely what will spell the destruction of our country.

    @sufi...kindly knwo the difference between a non muslim and DECLARED non muslim first and thn comment..!!

    is this islamic code of ethics??? my my...i havent see ths ethics before tht put everyone on the religion balance and tht also the one which we have invented...and thn analyze them...if today i ll call yuo non muslim and ignore all your efforts...tht must be ethical then haan?

    Sir syed ahmed khan was accused of apostasy by almost 50 maulves and fatwa of kufr was against him...he must not be a role model for you...!! right?

    qaid e azam was kaafir e azam...so he was a non muslim?? i bet he wasnt a role model in your books as well...

    Allam iqbals elder brother is ahmadi and his father was an ahmadi till a certain time...he must never be your role model..!

    and to sum it all up...sufi muhammad has issued a fatwa of kufr against lawyers movement and current judical system and who ever sits in thim...so ifthikhar chuadhry would never be your role model right..??

    wake yer soul up..!!

    Ahmadi and related issues were very much highlighted in Pakistan and aBDUS Salam has changed his nationality due to this declaration of non-muslims...
    So in this situation he can never be a role model here...
    I cannot explain to you the effects of such role models in Muslim society which is observing already very low ethics..Why should we further play with muslims social mind by bringing up such personalities...

    FATWA is one thing and most of the fatwas were taken back and by Individual Ulemas..
    But the case of AHMADI's were something like (IJMAA) that they are KAFIR...
    SO it will never be preffered to bring such ppl as national heros..
    Muslims alway try bring the non-muslim heros like Yousaf cricketor in ISLAM,rather than giving a non-muslim (SUB ACHA HY APP ME) type of report....
    SO if you have a valid approach that you are my hero but if you are muslim,it will be good in all aspects.....

    AT QAYAMA ALL THE NON-MUSLIMS AND MUSLIMS WILL BE VERY ANGARY TO FRIENDS IN THIS WORLD WHICH WILL BE GIVEN TICKETS TO JANNAH,WHY DONT YOU TOLD US ABOUT SUCH A HARD AFTER LIFE"..
    SO to avoid that day sorry just try every effort to ur non-muslims one in this world,to become a muslim.......Hidaya only ALLAH will give but we should have efforts now....

    i dnt think yer approach is wrong either...but we have to be fair...and if we have to give crdit...we shud...regardless of who is who...and in this case specially...where we have decalred sumone kafir...after all IJMAA is also done by human beings...they were also human beings like you and i....so i think its nt a fair call to make only yer role models who ar muslims..its a biased and racist approach...and we shud avoid it...!!
